摘要：It has been shown that by using elementary transformation the mass matrix  and stiffness matrix of a seamed elastic structure can be expressed in the  form of corresponding matrices of original unseamed structure with additional rows and columns. According to this, the fad that the free vibration frequ- encies of a seamed structure are lower than those of the unseamed structure  has been proved.
