Abstract:Aiming at the binary source separation problems with a single sensor, this paper presents a novel binary blind source separation algorithm for single sensor with low time consumption. The proposed effective method could extract each original source via a layer-by-layer separation strategy in time domain. In each layer, certain active sources are extracted and mask vectors are introduced to boost the proposed binary blind source separation algorithm. The proposed method could also be applied to the separation of binary source images. Experimental results substantiate that the proposed algorithm provides effective separation results even with only one available mixture of several original binary sources.
