Mingli Cao: Professor/Doctoral Supervisor (Materials Science/Structural Engineering/Municipal Engineering)
Dr. Mingli Cao completed her undergraduate and master's degrees in Materials Science from Wuhan University of Technology, and obtained her Ph.D. in Materials Science (with a focus on Building Materials) from Dalian University of Technology.
She joined Institute of Building Materials, Dalian University of Technology in 1996 and served as a Visiting Scholar at CSIRO Manufacturing in Australia from 2017 to 2018.
In recent years, she has achieved multiple technological breakthroughs and innovative outcomes in the field of "Micro-nano Modification of Cement-Based Materials and Multi-scale Fiber Reinforcement Theory and Technology." These achievements have been extensively applied in large-scale engineering projects and technology transfers. She has authored/co-authored over 90 SCI/EI papers in journals such as ACI, ASCE, Composites Part B, Composites Part A, Cement and Concrete Composites. She holds 20+ granted national invention patents and has received 10+ awards at the provincial and ministerial levels. She has led 10+ national, provincial, and ministerial research projects and has directed two international cooperative technology development and technology transfer projects.
Mingli Cao concurrently holds positions as a member of the Education Committee of the China Concrete and Cement Products Association (National Higher Education Building Materials Discipline Research Society), a certified judicial appraiser, a director of the Liaoning Particle Society, a director of the Liaoning Composite Materials Society, a distinguished education expert of China Building Materials Industry Press, and an editor/reviewer for several important academic journals both in China and abroad.
