PI-Repetitive control applied to three-phase four-wire active power filter

Abstract:In this paper, a new current control strategy combining repetitive control with PI control was proposed to improve the accuracy of three-phase four wire active power filter (APF). The parameters selection and the stability error of the proposed current controller were analyzed according to the transfer function. A performance comparison between the proposed controller and the traditional PI controller was carried out by MATLAB simulations and the experiments implemented on Texas Instruments DSP TMS320F28335. The results showed that the proposed control strategy can effectively suppress harmonic currents and compensate neutral line current.
