郭旭:1971年出生于辽宁省沈阳市。大连理工大学教授、工程力学系主任、工业装备结构分析国家重点实验室副主任、中国力学学会副理事长、国际结构与多学科优化学会执委、国务院力学学科评议组成员、教育部教学指导委员会(力学)成员、国家杰出青年基金获得者、长江学者特聘教授、“万人计划”领军人才、自然科学基金委创新研究群体负责人。长期从事计算力学、结构优化和固体力学研究,在相关领域做出了国内外同行公认的重要贡献,曾2次获得国家自然科学二等奖、2次获得教育部自然科学一等奖。还曾获辽宁省自然科学一等奖、中国力学学会自然科学一等奖、全国创新争先奖、中国青年科技奖、亚洲结构与多学科优化学会成就奖、国际华人计算力学学会成就奖、钱令希计算力学成就奖等奖励奖项。
