Abstract:The Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology, which can be used to charge battery, drive household electrical appliances and so on, has attracted more and more attention. However, it is usually hard for the system to have the ability to drive a high-power load, such as motor load. This paper designs a lifting transportation prototype (LTP) with the Wireless Power Transmission Technology and it is designed to drive two motors simultaneously, one is used to lift load up and down while another is used to move left and right with the load. For the motor, its resistor changes a lot when it starts working from stationary state, thus it can be considered as a shock load. In this paper, the LCL compensation at the transmitting side is used while SS topology is used at the receiving side. This compensation keeps the transmitting coil current and the receiving output voltage constant, so shock declines. The way to configure and the equation are derived in detail that the output power is up to 2 kW. This paper draws a conclusion that the output voltage is constant by formula derivation and simulation. At last, a LCL/SS compensation WPT system which is called lifting transportation prototype (LTP) with the rated power 2.2kW driving motor load is built and the experiment proves the feasibility of the method.
