教授博导化工学院、高分子材料系辽宁省高分子科学与工程重点实验室主任、辽宁省先进高分子材料工程实验室主任教育部高等学校材料类专业教学指导委员会委员,中国合成橡胶工业协会专家委员会委员。曾任中国石化北京燕山石化公司研究院院长橡塑新型材料合成国家工程研究中心主任大连理工大学化工学院高分子材料系主任、副院长技术研究开发院常务副院长化工与环境生命学部部长教育部高分子材料与工程教指委秘书长;中国化学会理事中国化学会高分子学科、应用化学学科、产学研合作与促进工作委员会委员;中国化工学会理事,辽宁省化工学会副理事长辽宁省石油石化学会副理事长;中国材料研究学会高分子材料与工程分会常务理事;中国合成橡胶工业协会副理事长。1988年在中国石化北京燕山石化公司研究院参加工作,2005年底调入大连理工大学任教。主要从事高分子合成方法学研究,研究兴趣:活性阴离子聚合理论与方法、高性能功能化橡胶及弹性体的合成与应用。主持和参与的项目:国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家863重点项目、国家973计划项目、国家科技支撑计划、国家科技重大专项。“九五”国家重点科技攻关计划先进个人(2001年)北京市工业系统优秀党员科技带头人(2001年,10名)2016年度国务院政府特殊津贴;2018年度中国合成橡胶工业化六十周年自主创新贡献单位(中国合成橡胶工业协会)。2014年度中国循环经济协会科学技术奖一等奖,高性能复合材料轨枕及其先进制备技术;2017年度辽宁省技术发明奖一等奖,高性能聚苯乙烯树脂及其先进制备技术;2019年度辽宁省科技进步奖一等奖功能复合材料轨枕及其先进制备技术2020年度大连市专利奖一等奖,星形梳状聚乳酸及其制备方法2021年大连市技术发明奖一等奖,星形梳状高枝化聚酯及其先进制备技术
