He is mainly engaged in the research of CO2 resource utilization and geological storage, natural gas hydrate development and application, micro-scale flow in porous media, etc. He was selected as the top young talents of Liaoning Xingliao Talent Program. As the person in charge, he undertook many sub-projects of the National 13th Five-Year Key Research and Development Plan, National Natural Science Foundation projects, youth projects, Doctoral Foundation of the Ministry of Education and Natural Science Foundation of Liaoning Province, etc. As a key member, he has participated in national major scientific research projects, such as National Major Science and Technology Projects, 973 Projects, 863 projects, National Natural Science Foundation key projects, instrument projects, etc. As the backbone of scientific research, he has won the first prize of the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education and the special prize of the Ocean Engineering Science and Technology Award. He has been authorized more than 20 national invention patents.
He served as the deputy director of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality, the assistant director of the Initiative School, and the director of the Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering of Dalian University of Technology. He actively completed the undergraduate and postgraduate training and discipline construction. In the past five years, I have served as the principal teacher of the compulsory course "Principles and Technologies of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction" for undergraduates.
