Dr Li received his Bachelor degree and Master degree (Supervisor: Prof. Gao Zhanxian) from Dalian University of technology in 2001 and 2004 respectively. Soon afterwards he was admitted to the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (CAS) for further study and joined Zongbao Zhao 's group since then. In 2009, he earned his Ph.D. degree (Organic Chemistry) from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics. He then started to work as a postdoctoral fellow in Manitoba University (Canada) that same year until he returned to China and began his independent research career as a associative Professor in Dalian University of technology (Panjin Campus) in 2013. His research interests include the development of novel N-halamine antibacterial agents, surface modification of functional polymer materials.
