Profile

Background:

I'm currently an associate professor at Dalian University of Technology. I received Bachelor's and Ph. D. degrees in materials science from Dalian University of Technology. I once spent one-year visiting Loughborough University(U.K.). My research covers the areas of mechanics (fatigue) of advanced materials, ultrasonic nondestructive testing and evaluation, and microstructure-based modeling. It has been funded by the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Ministry of science and technology in China, Liaoning province, and Dalian city.

I have published approximately 40 technical papers in refereed journals and conferences, and I am also a holder of 6 Chinese patents. I have received 2 science and innovation awards from ministry/province in China and 3 best paper awards in international conferences.
