摘要:The system composition and the control algorithm of an active absorbing wavemaker system are described based on servo motor . An active absorption algorithm with the reflection coefficient of the wavemaker is presented based on the first-order piston active absorbing wavemaker theory .And experiments with regular and irregular waves are carried out in wave period range of 1 .2 s to 2 .4 s .Separating the incident and reflected waves with two-point methods ,the experimental results show a good agreement between predicted theoretical reflection coefficient and experimental value ,and the absorption efficiency of irregular waves is greater than 84% .
