Personal Profile

Dr. Gao started to work in Dalian University of Technology from May 2009. He received his degrees from McMaster University in Canada (PhD in 2006 and MEng in 2000, both in Mechanical Engineering) and Tsinghua University (BEng in Thermal Engineering in 1997). Before joining Dalian Univ. Tech., he served two years as a lecture in Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China). Currently, Dr. Gao is the director of the Turbulence Control Laboratory. His main research interest include feedback control methods used in turbulent shear flows, experimental methods in turbulent flow and thermoacoustic instabilities.
