Wang Zhong (Ph.D.), Professor of School of Software, Dalian University of Technology. He received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees in computer software and computational mechanics from the Dalian University of Technology in 1994 and 2000, respectively. 

Since 2008, he has been engaged in the biostatistics field and bioinformatics field through the research of model rebuild, data analysis, and software development. Recently, focusing on the area of gene association studies and gene regulation, he has published nearly 80 journal articles, and developed and maintained multiple open-source code libraries for biostatistics and bioinformatics: ( https://github.com/wzhy2000,  https://github.com/Danko-Lab) 

Utilizing machine learning or deep learning, He is collaborating with the world institutes  (Cornell University, Johns Hopkins University, Yale University, and Penn State University)  to extend the R&D of genomic signal prediction and medical image disease recognition.
