Abstract:A partially differential decoding algorithm based on orthogonal space time block code is proposed for two-user MIMO system. In this algorithm, the receiver only needs to obtain one of the users' channel state information to decode the two users' transmitted sequences. Then an additional differential decoding scheme is presented that can work properly when neither the transmitter nor the receiver of the two users knows the channel. Finally the complexity of the algorithm is calculated. The scheme uses a rotated ver-sion of selected constellation and the optimized rotation angles are obtained by numerical simulation. The simulation results show that the proposed differential decoding algorithm has a lower decoding complexity.
