Dr. Xiaobing Zhu joined Dalian University of Technology (DUT), China as an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering since July 2013. Prior to that, he worked in United States for over six years as a research Assistant Professor and a Principle Investigator at University of Houston, and a postdoctoral fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Georgia Institute of Technology. In March 2007, he achieved his Ph.D. degree of Chemical Engineering at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has 56 peer-reviewed journal papers (3 front cover), 3 US patents and 8 China Patents, 1 invited talk at ISPCEM-2014, and served as a session chair three times at hydrogen conferences of WHEC and WHTC since 2014, and one more time at a plasma conference of 2016 International Symposium on Plasmas for Catalyses and Energy Materials. In 2015, he was awarded“The 2ND TEN, HUNDRED, THOUSAND Overseas Senior Talents Plan, Liaoning Province, China”, at “HUNDRED” Level.
