Yanming Shen: Professor and Ph.D Supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology. He received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Polytechnic University in New York. His main research interests include graph machine learning, knowledge graphs, and big data. He has published over 100 papers in prestigious international conferences such as ICML, NeurIPS, ACL and IEEE/ACM Transactions. His research achievements have been recognized with awards such as the IEEE Communication Society Multimedia Communications Best Paper Award, the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education's Natural Science Award, and the Jiangsu Province Innovation Talent Project. He is the recipient of KDD Cup 2021 championship, where the model he co-developed with Microsoft Research Asia defeated more than 500 teams, including Google DeepMind, Baidu, and Ant Financial.
