Our research group had been engaged in study on theory and practice of anionic polymerization of butadiene/isoprene/styrene for 20 years. Industrial production technology of styrene butadiene thermoplastic elastomer, solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber, and low CIS polybutadiene rubber are developed. Recently our group developed a “green” synthesis method for preparing functional SBS/SIS with PEO block. These functional polymers have good potential on application for biomedical materials and high performance adhesive. More than 40 papers on anionic polymerization have been published, over 20 patents have been authorized.
