Profile
Dr. Zheng obtained a B.S. degree in Polymer Materials at Dalian University of Technology, China, in 2011, and a Ph.D degree in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, in 2015.She worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at TAMU with Professor Vytas Bankaitis from 2015 to 2016. She joined Dalian University of Technology in 2016. Dr. Zheng's research forcused on the development of functional polymers and materials using novel chemistry for therapeutic nanomedicine including the design of gene/drug delivery systems that allow efficiency delivery of therapeutic cargos in vitro and in vivo. Zheng is the co-inventor of 5 patents/patent applications and co-authored 26 publications, including 7 first-author paper (3 paper pubilised in the TOP5 Journals in the related fields). For Graduate Students Welcome the future master/graduate students with background in organic/polymer/materials chemistry, biomaterials and pharmaceutics. If you are interested in my research, please contact Zheng(nzheng@dlut.edu.cn) with your CV and other detailed undergraduate information attached. For Undergraduate Students We routinely apply the oppotunity for undergraduate students to do research with graduate students. Please follow the instruction of Undergraduate graduation project for the fourth-year students and the Innovation Experiment Program for others.
