摘要:In this paper, a series of experiments were performed to investigate the
effects of superhydrophilic and hydrophilic surface on the heat transfer
performance for pulsating heat pipes (PHPs). The liquid film deposited
length at the end of the slug and displacement of the slug were
investigated in the paper. Experimental results showed that the liquid
film deposited length increased with the decreasing of surface contact
angles. The amplitude and velocity of the slug in the superhydrophilic
and hydrophilic surface were higher than those in the copper PHP. The
heat transfer performance of the hydrophilic PHP was higher than that of
copper PHP due to the active movement of the slugs.
