Abstract:This paper consider a microbial continuous process. Hybrid nonlinear systems are developed for describing the dynamics of the process under three possible transmembrane transport modes of the goal product 1,3-propanediol. The established model is also based on the assumptions that the transmembrane transport mode of the substrate glycerol is a combination of active and passive transport, and that the specific growth rate of the microorganism is not inhibited by 3-hydroxypropionaldehyde. Parameter identification model is established with the quantitative definition of the given system's robustness as performance index. The model was proved identifiable. The contributions of this work could provide theoretical reference for numerical inference of the membrane transport mechanism. ? 2014 IEEE.
