Abstract: The low-frequency preionization discharge supply used for the first high power CO laser in China developed by ourselves was discussed. The parameters of the supply are, voltage output 0-30kV, current output 0-300mA, frequency 1-20kHz. The preionization discharge supply is simple, reliable and compact. It has been successfully applied to the high power CO laser.
