Abstract:Both surface roughness and internal inclusion will affect fatigue life of high-metal FV520B-I significantly.Based on the ultrasonic experimental data and the observations,according to the classical fiacture mechanics,the fatigue life prediction basic models for FV520B-I with the consideration of internal inclusion and surface roughness are obtained.Based on the suitable experimental data,the FV520B-I empirical fatigue life prediction models with two different defect firms are established by estimating the unknown material parameters related to FV520B-I.The establishment of the fatigue life prediction model makes a contribution to the study of FV520B-I and it is also valuable to the life prediction of FV520B-I in actual engineering.
