Abstract:Studying the explosion characteristic parameters of Aluminum particles with different concentrations and different diameters to obtain the fitting curve of the maximum pressure P(max) and the maximum rate of pressure rise (dP/dt)(max) by using Hartmann tube dust explosion testing device. Completing the validation for the experimental data based on FLUENT software to carry out numerical simulation. Experimental data and numerical solutions fit very well. Under the same concentration, P(max) and (dP/dt)(max) are reduced as the particle diameter increases. Under the same particle diameter, the maximum pressure and the maximum rate of pressure rise are increased as the particle concentration increases. When the concentration is up to 500g.m(-3), P(max) and (dP/dt)(max) reach the maximum. Experimental data and law curves of dust explosion in confined space can provide a comparison basis for venting.
