Abstract:Electrochemical measurements of electrochemical impedance and characterization methods of fluorescence microscope and scanning electron microscopy were used to study the oxygen reduction antibacterial mechanism in the process of cathodic polarization and the influence of different cathodic polarization potential on stainless steel surface microbial adhesion. Results showed that the oxygen reduction reaction played a key role in inhibiting biofilm adhesion and the appropriate polarized potential can effectively inhibit the microbial adhesion on stainless steel.
