Abstract:The glass transition and the crystallization of Zr62Al8Ni13Cu17 bulk amorphous alloys applied with dynamic load through dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA) were studied and compared with that without load. The experimental results show that the applied dynamic load shortens the incubation time and accelerates the crystallization process. Moreover, the crystal phases with the dynamic load of fixed frequency and changing frequency were investigated separately by transmission electron micrograph (TEM). The results show that reducing the frequency to some extent can lower the modulus and speed up the crystallization of the amorphous alloys; the magnitude and frequency of the dynamic load can influence the shape and size of crystalline grains.
