Abstract: Subsidiary initiative is the primal), outward expression of subsidiary innovation, and the key element of business group's overall competitive advantage. This study focuses on the mechanism of business group innovation networks affect subsidiary Initiatives which including examining the moderating effect of the environmental uncertainty bases on the perspective of open system. The results show that: (1) the group's internal innovation network configuration correlated significantly with the subsidiary initiative, and the network scale, strength and diversity arc significant positive correlation; (2) the embedded degree of a subsidiary in the group's internal innovation network is positively related to the initiatives; (3) environmental uncertainty has a significant differentiation regulation effect of initiatives, which contains both U and inverted U adjustment effect on the internal/external initiatives. To a certain extent, the moderating effects indicate the group network has dual effects on subsidiaries, which including the network benefits and the flexible constraint.
