Abstract:Biomass chemical looping gasification using Fe_2O_3as oxygen carrier was simulated with Aspen Plus process simulation software.The effects of temperature,pressure,molar ratio of oxygen carrier to biomass and molar ratio of steam to biomass on syngas preparation were investigated.The gasification conditions of different biomass were optimized.Meanwhile,syngas was put into M701F gas turbine and the system efficiency was examined.The results indicated that the optimal gasification temperature for different biomasses is around 740 ℃ under normal pressure,when the cold gas efficiency is higher increasing the pressure is conducive to the heat balance without extra energy.However,the cold gas efficiency is reduced.The optimal molar ratio of oxygen carrier to biomass is negatively related to the molar ratio of oxygen to carbon in the biomass.And when the optimal molar ratio is achieved,the molar ratio of oxygen to carbon in the gasification environment is about 1.25.After passing steam into the gasification system,the cold gas efficiency is increased by 15.00%-20.00%,mainly due to the significant increase in H2 yield.The cold gas efficiency is higher when the molar ratio of oxygen to carbon in the gasification environment is about 1.4after passing steam into system.The power efficiency of the system is in the range of 30.00%-37.00%,which is slightly higher than that in current biomass power generation.
