钛合金表面电火花沉积WC涂层的研究

Abstract:Strengthened coating on titanium substrate was deposited by different electrospark process using WC electrode. In order to optimize the electrospark deposition (ESD) process, the microstructure of the coating was analyzed with optical microscope, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersion spectrum (EDS). It was found that the quality of the coating couldn't be enhanced with just changing the parameters of ESD. However, the high quality coating was obtained on the titanium substrate when the applied ultrasonic frequency reaching to a certain value. The coating consisting of TiC, W and W2C was formed through the reaction between titanium in the substrate and WC from the electrode.
