摘要:In this paper, we present haze filtering that is capable of editing the amount of haze in an image given a haze observation. Aerial perspective is taken into account to generate depth dependent haze. We re-formulate the transmission estimation, the key to haze removal or filtering so that users are able to change the amount of haze in an image by tuning maximum visibility. The guided filter is employed in order to efficiently refine the estimated transmission. Additionally, we develop color correction and sky compensation based on physical priors for quality improvements. Experimental results show that the proposed method is able to generate images with various degree of haze in a natural and efficient fashion. The results are also free of color distortion that typically occurs when shooting in fog weather.
