Abstract:Fine dielectric particles suspended in gas phase were controlled to form particle chains under the action of an electrostatic field. The particle chains deposited onto a substrate, and a porous layer with three-dimensional network structure was obtained. In this paper, we will research the distortion of electric field in the vicinity of the particle chain during its formation with theoretical explain and numerical value simulation. First, we will get the electrostatic potential distribution with the re-expansion method. Then this procedure is applied to the problem and the figures of the electrostatic potential distribution are shown.
