Abstract: Unusual Pschorr cyclisation via naphthyl radical-induced intramolecular aromatic 1,5-hydrogen transfer using the corresponding diazonium salts as starting materials gave five- and six-membered oxacyclic-fused naphthalic anhydride isomers.
