Abstract:Based on the overview of cyber language violence research,the predominant behavioral and context-interaction paradigms have been identified and distinguished.In order to supplement the disadvantages of the two paradigms for meso-level research,we accordingly propose a critical-discourse-analysis perspective of cyber language violence and construct a research framework.In this framework,the Internet discourse analysis at micro-level is utilized to reconstruct the event-process of cyber language violence at meso-level.Meanwhile,integrating the social context at macro-level,we unfold the driving mechanism and socially operational process in which language as violence gradually evolves into violence as language.This framework may guideline the forthcoming researches theoretically and methodologically.
