弧形闸门前旋涡临界淹没水深研究

Abstract:In this paper,the characteristics and critical submergence of vortex before radial gate are studied by the 1∶20 scale model experiment of a sluice which controlled by the radial gate.Experimental observation are found that the vortexes formation before the partial opened gate are always in pair and they have opposite circulation direction.The experiment data show that the critical submergence is not only related to the Froude number,but also related to the intake aspect ratio and upper stream contraction ratio.Finally,using theoretical analysis and data fitting methods,a critical submergence formula which avoiding air-core vortices before radial gate is established in this paper.It has considered the effects of Froude number,gate opening and circulation.
