Abstract:A critical procedure for comprehending risks and improving response capacities of Internet public opinion is social vulnerability assessment. In order to ensure the precision of regional social vulnerability evaluation orienting to Internet public opinion,we constructed a three-dimensional evaluation index system including social-economic development level,Internet information interaction level as well as government's emergency-handling ability,which can be weighted via applying combination weighting constituted by entropy weight meth-od and G1 weight method. After that,we empirically analyzed the provincial social vulnerability of China in the year of 2013. The evalua-tion results are constructive in providing a reference for the early warning of regional Internet public opinion at a macro level.
