Abstract: This paper aims at exploring the explosion characteristics of -10# and -35# diesels experimentally. The diesel gas in the explosion chamber is obtained by heating the diesel at various temperatures. The results demonstrate that the maximum explosion pressure of -10# and -35# diesels increases firstly and then decreases as the diesel temperature increases. More premixed gas of -10# and -35# diesel is vaporized at 130 C and 86 C, respectively. Besides, the higher temperature of -10# diesel is needed to reach the same volume concentration and maximum explosion pressure compared with -35# diesel. ? 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
