摘要：Through analyzing the action principle and performances of spring loaded safety valves, pressure loaded pilot-operated safety valves, dual protection pilot-operated safely valves, and bursting discs, a conceptual design tree of venting devices for chemical process is proposed under the consideration of operating pressures, operating temperatures, properties of working medium and economic benefits. According to the tree, designers can determine the pressure relief devices easily.
