Abstract:The thin-walled structures always tend to distort and deform during machining due to its low rigidity, which will influence the tolerance characteristics of the final product. Thus, to control machining accuracy of is very challenging. This paper focuses on a solution to this problem, an information-localizing method for machining large thin-wall structures is proposed. Further, a fiducial correction algorithm is used to compensate the machining deformation error. Finally, the experiments were carried out, and the results indicated that the proposed method can improve the machining accuracy.
