摘要：In order to improve the environmental quality while maintaining economic growth, the adjustment of industrial structure has become a necessary and effective measure to solve the dilemma. This paper will examine if pollution abatement could be an effective reversed transmission mechanism for industrial restructuring. We use cross-section data of China's 30 provinces and establish a threshold regression model to pursue an empirical analysis. By sample splitting, we obtain 3 sub-samples. According to the results of the sub-samples' threshold regression, we throw light on the distinctive characteristics and differences of the 3 sub-samples for a further step.
