  • Abstract:

    As an important facility, the tower crane plays an important role in construction industry. Though its safety problem has been concerned worldwidely, the accident frequency has been high. Its safety is still a puzzle in this industry. After building a Dependent Relation Figure (DRF), an expert system for safety assessment of tower crane (TQES) is developed in VISUAL C++ environment, using the expert system building technology based on modern design methodology. The TQES has been verified successfully, and could be used to assess the safety of general tower crane.
