Centrifuge model tests for single pile buried in saturated dense sand were carried out to investigate the behavior of pile foundation subjected to unidirectional and bidirectional cyclic lateral displacement loadings separately .The results indicate that the reaction force rises with cycles of lateral displacement loading , and it becomes stable after 10 cycles gradually .The bending moment varies with the reaction force linearly ,and the biggest moment’ s position is at around 1/3 buried depth .With the increasing of lateral displacement and cycles ,the rotation center stables at around 2/3 buried depth .
