摘要：Anew plane element, named the rectangular truss element, is presented in this paper. The stiffness matrix of rectangular truss element is derived based on the equivalences of stresses, strains and energy of the rectangular truss element and the general finite elements (micro element), and the substitution of the general elements by the rectangular truss element is realized. Code of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for the rectangular truss element is developed. The rectangular truss element is advantageous than the general finite elements because the computation is more time consuming and the code is more easily to develop, compile and maintain.
