Abstract:This paper is concerned with an effective way to evaluate the measurement uncertainty for high precision gear involute profile measuring system in the gear testing centre Mahr891E which was improved both in numerical-electronic control system and mechanical parts. Optical system was used during the inspection process in this paper. The precision of involute profile measuring system in this gear testing centre was known to be available to test gear with high accuracy grade.
