Abstract:This paper presents a blending method which is based on space partition. A new space partition is proposed over which one can construct the spline blending surfaces. The blending surface is of low degree since we use algebraic spline blending surfaces. Moreover, there exist free parameters to control the blending regions and adjust the shape of blending surfaces from local and whole. ? 2009 Binary Information Press August, 2009.
