Abstract:Cement concrete adding with scrap rubber particles of certain size can significantly enhance or improve properties of concrete. The study on cracking-resistance properties of rubberized concrete was included. By the test method of flat specimen according to CCES01-2004 standard, the influences of rubber particles on early-age cracking properties were studied. The results showed that the addition of scrap rubber particles of certain particle size, could extend the initial cracking time of concrete, shorten the length, width and numbers of cracks, and improve the initial cracking of concrete.
