Abstract:This paper introduces a remote monitor and active measure system based on Ethernet and embedded IPv4/IPv6 dual stack. It remotely monitors the power and UPS supply, temperate, humidity, security and network performance of device rooms. It actively measures the main network performance parameters, such as delay and loss.. This system uses the low cost embedded device to intelligently monitor and measure the environment and network performance of the device room in IPv4/IPv6 network. It is much helpful to the campus network management.
