Abstract: Built Environment is a basic course of the major of Building Environment and Energy Applications Engineering. It establishes theoretical basis for other professional courses and courses in postgraduate. With the improvement of college students' innovative requirements, traditional teaching methods face enormous challenges. Based on independent study in the course of Built Environment, the study explores ways that would allow students to have a solid professional foundation, and mobilize the initiative of students to achieve the purpose of applying their knowledge and happiness research.
