Abstract:The genetic exploration and the construction of adaptive transformation model of rural residential areas is related to the livelihood of the people and the rural culture and its sustainable development. We explore the contextual gene and transformation strategy of the residential area of the island fishing village in Changhai County from the perspective of multi-dimensional adaptability. Based on the field investigation results, through the literature research, the status of surveying and mapping, physical environment test, interview, questionnaire and data processing, and in settlement mode, type of production, ecological construction method, energy-saving technology and so on, we excavate the traditional living culture gene, then refine the traditional residential model type. And based on the transition period of fishing villages, around the fishermen's life, the production mode and the specific natural and humanistic environment, village residence construction strategy of deduction of adaptability, in order to provide reference for related research and design practice.
