Abstract:By sorting out the development history and distribution evolution of modern industry in Dalian, the authors analysis the layout characteristics of Dalian Industrial Heritage from a macro perspective, point out that the relationship between the railway and the port plays a decisive role in the distribution of industrial heritage in Dalian, and discuss the influence of colonial history on the industrial structure, layout and urban space of modern industry in Dalian, to lay the foundation for the next step in the classification of industrial heritage, value assessment and so on.
