Abstract: The effects of titanium dioxide with different form and TS-1 zeolite of different n(SiO2)/ n(TiO2) on epoxidation of propylene were studied. XRD and UV-VIS spectra were used to study the structure and morphology of the samples. Amorphous or highly dispersed titanium dioxide can accelerate the decomposition of H2O2 and reduce the efficiency of H2O2. Anatase and rutile with high crystallinity are inactive to the decomposition of H2O2. According to this study, the form of extra framework titanium species and its effect on epoxidation of propylene were revealed.
