Abstract: This paper studies the design problem of fault detection filter for switched positive systems over a lossy network. Data missing on the channel between the sensors and the filters is taken into account and governed by a bernoulli process. Furthermore, a stochastic switched positive system is used to establish the closed-loop system composed of the plants and filters. The fault detection problems are transformed into an H-infinity optimization. Sufficient conditions on the existence of filters for the mean square stability with an H-infinity disturbance attenuation level is derived through decoupling the system matrices and Lyapunov matrices.
